I have been working in my garden and wanted to paint some pavers to brighten things up. I had many ideas, but decided to start with a cute ladybug.

I bought these pavers from Menards for 76 cents each!

I started with painting the entire paver red. Let it dry and added the black with a sharpie first, then painted with black acrylic paint. I had to put another coat on.

I used these cool round sponge brushes to create perfect circles for the ladybug.

After letting the black dry, I added the eyes and the smile.

To get the paver ready for the garden, I used this clear topcoat to protect it from rain while being outside. I did 3 coats for each side.

This turned out better than I even thought! I’m looking forward to painting more pavers to continue decorating the garden!
