This is the perfect gift for puzzle lovers out there! A take on “Blind Date with a Book.” When you are ready for a puzzle, you pick through the boxes and read the description that looks the most interesting and open it. Surprise! Your blind date with a puzzle has begun!

First step is to gather your puzzles. I bought new puzzles that were 50% off at Hobby Lobby and on sale at Target. You could also do used puzzles if you were trying to save money, reuse, and you knew there are no missing pieces. I would also make sure the person you are giving to is the “right fit” for used puzzles vs new. These puzzles in the photo were for 2 different gift baskets. You can give as many or as little puzzles as you want.

Your next step is going to be to wrap them in brown paper and write at the top Blind Date with a Puzzle. Add at the bottom the number of pieces and some descriptions to help the person know a little more about what puzzle is wrapped.

I noticed that my sharpie went through the back of the paper. I was worried about ruining the puzzles boxes, so just check before you start writing on the front.

I added on decorative twine and had my son place the stickers on.

I put the puzzles in a basket from Dollar Tree with some tissue paper. I added a few smaller puzzles of different shapes to make the presentation look nice.
