Craftypenguinfamily

I made this penguin themed trunk or treat last year, and I still get asked about it! I had people come up to me this year and ask if I could bring the penguins back. This was one of the easiest trunk or treat themes I did.

I gathered all of my sons penguin stuffed animals to be out- 16 total. My husband had the blue tarp in the garage, so I thought that would be perfect for the water. I found foam pieces and collected boxes to wrap in white paper for ice blocks.

The largest penguin to display was made out of a black fleece blanket and I attached foam pieces to create the penguins body. I ended up changing the belly to a round shape which looked better.

The longest thing to make was the igloo. My husband had a large box from ordering a tool and I painted it white and added the black to make it look like blocks of ice.
Overall, it was fun to set up and my kids had fun helping set out the stuffed penguins!
