Crayola Experience is a place of creativity, fun, play, and imagination! We were given an annual pass for a Christmas present which was $39.99 per person. This is a good deal as after 2 times and it pays for itself. Upon arriving, we were given a bag with a scavengar hunt, 2 tokens, and a Crayola Scribble Scrubbie pet to use at another station.

At one of the first stations, you can pick a crayon color and name it whatever you want. There is a machine to wrap the label around the crayon which the kids thought was fun. This area takes 1 token to do. Modeling madness is the other area where you use a token to pick the color of clay you want to build with.

Take a picture of yourself and turn it into a coloring page!

Texture CRAYze was an area we spent a lot of time at. There were many images to create pictures and stories.

There was a play area for older kids and a play area for toddlers. There was a snack shop next to the play area, but was closed when we went. It had drinks and some food options. They have many tables and chairs in the cafe seating area and I did see families bring a packed lunch, snacks, and drinks. The vending machine sold pop for $4.75! I would recommend bringing your own water bottle.

There are over 20 exhibits to check out! We actually didn’t spend time at every one and we were there 3 hours! I noticed that they had many areas to sit and rest from benches to tables and chairs. There were big bathrooms, a separate family bathroom, and a nursing room.

Crayola Experience at the Mall of America is a wonderful place to take kids who love to draw, create, and play. We spend a lot of time exploring each area and it was worth the cost to get in!
