Fawn Doe Rosa is a Wildlife Educational Park in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. This is a 1 hour drive northeast of the Twin Cities. Lots of free parking available. Plan to bring snacks and drinks, since there is not a place to eat at Fawn Doe Rosa. They did have two food trucks in the parking lot with mini donuts and popcorn. The cost to get in was $11 for adults and $10 for kids (2-10). There is an additional costs for animal feed. I would get the bucket ($8.50) of food for the animals because our kids went through feeding the animals quickly. I think it’s the best deal and you can keep the bucket and shovel or choose to return them if you don’t want to take them home. Refills for the bucket are $4. There are machines to get more animal feed throughout the park. It doesn’t give you much food, so I think you are better off walking back to the gift shop/enterance and get more food there.

This is a lovely park and grounds. It’s easy to push a stroller or use a wheelchair. There are walking paths and a pond with water fountain displays. The fall colors looked beautiful as we walked around.

As we entered and were feeding the ducks, a deer came right up to us!

There were some animals that were not close enough to feed such as wolves, foxes, badgers, bobcat, lynx, and elk. My husband enjoyed watching the Porcupine in his habitat. The animals you could feed were: deer, ducks, ponies, goats, llamas, and chickens. They also had pony rides and a petting area with staff members to help out.

My family enjoyed going here! I thought it was going to be like any other petting zoo I have seen before, but this was much better than I expected! We were very close to animals and my kids loved being able to feed them. It is very walkable and easy with a stroller. There were many places to sit and rest. We liked the wooden porch swing! They have bathrooms next to the gift shop. You do have to enter and exit through the gift shop, which I think is hard for parents trying to leave quickly with little kids.
